The weekly 24 chasa (Eng. "24 Hours") is the first Russian digest. It was created in February 1989 and made it possible to monitor information and journalistic media with minimal time. Until now, this unique publication attracts a wide mass of readers because of the hundreds of titles in the Russian and foreign press, it publishes the most interesting, relevant and educational materials, primarily articles on socio-political life, the development of science and culture, materials on health topics, relationships between men and women and many others that affect the interests of every person. Despite the fact that the weekly is not clearly entertaining in nature, the published materials are easy to read. Well-chosen texts make the publication democratic. The readership of each issue of the weekly magazine, published on 24 pages, is more than 60 thousand people. This is achieved by selecting materials that are of interest to different age and professional groups of the population. Printed in Saint Petersburg.
